Close your eyes tight
Sprinkle a little Fairy Dust
Now open them to a Childlike Reverie
Where each twilight twinkle
Is an invitation to dream
Children remind us of the innocent wonder and tender kindness of our own hearts, the ever-shining brightness that we all possess, no matter how dismal a moment may seem.
When your around little children your more likely to sing, dance, dream, laugh, be playful and free. As we age and grow up these activities and their joyful moods can seem to fade out of lives too.
Your time is focused on more serious matters until you may find yourself rarely in the childlike reveries which bring much peace and happiness.
Begin to spend just a few moments a day with the child who still resides within you (or resides with you if you have children). Awaken the young heart of another, ask a “friend” to “play” with you, even if it is only for just a few moments a day. Read a book together, sing, dance or spy a butterfly in nature. Be the joy and kindness of your light hearted selves.
Let us remember the child within who is fearless Love in this world, let us move the adult to soar who comes to seek that Love in nature and Her gentle butterflies.
May they both fly free on Wings of Grace, inspiring as the butterflies do.
Read me a bedtime story
Tuck me in tight
Sing me a Lullaby
An Angel’s Kiss goodnight
